Anna M. Baker

Anna M. Baker, daughter of Ora and Mamie Hickman, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, at Wetzel County Hospital, surrounded by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul “Bill” Baker; infant daughter, Debra Ann Baker; mother-in-law, Margaret Evans; and siblings, Lettie Persinger (Lee) and Jimmy Hickman.

Surviving Anna are her siblings, Mary Yoho (Gene), and Mae Cecil (Dick); three children, Paul W. Baker Jr. (Linda), Cindy Francis, and Mary Wells (Bill); grandchildren, Shauna Warner (Sam), Shawn and Benjamin Francis, William Wells (Randelyn), and Corey Wells; as well as great-grandchildren, Brenna Warner, Peyton and Breanna Francis, Jayden and Avery Long.

Funeral service will take place Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Myers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM with Pastor Darrell Mayfield officiating. Vistation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
