Anna Mae Brown, 89, of Friendly, WV, passed away May 23, 2024 at Trustwell Living at Westwood Place.
She was born October 22, 1934, in Hebron, WV, a daughter of the late Francis "Frank" Dailey and Izona Cross Dailey.
Anna Mae was a member of the Friendly United Methodist Church and was very active in the congregation. She enjoyed sewing blankets and stuffed animals and loved working in her flower beds. She loved spending time with her family and was most well known for her banana nut bread.
She is survived by her daughters, Martha (Cliff) Warner of Friendly, WV and Anna Lee (Joey) Pope of Charleston, WV; grandchildren, Brittany (Dustin) Brown Russell, Hannah (Paul) Kirk, Meggie (Cory) Voll and Joe Pope; great-grandchildren, Haley Tuttle, Adrianna Tuttle, Johnathon Tuttle, Maddison Russell, Brynlee Kirk and Brooks Voll and sister, Frances Tippins.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Brown; daughter, Robin Brown; brothers, Edward Dailey, Raymond Dailey and Jerry Dailey and sisters, Ivy Messager, Vera Marie Dailey and Geneva Cumbridge.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at 2:00 PM at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Sapp officiating. Interment will be in Friendly Cemetery.
