William “Bill” Charles Michael Wilcox, II, 56, of Paden City, WV, passed away at Allegheny General Hospital on July 31, 2025.
He was born November 1, 1968, in New Martinsville, WV, to William “Charles” Michael Wilcox and Joyce Jolliffe Wilcox.
Bill was an Instrument Technician at MPLX and he was a United States Navy veteran. He was a member of the Middlebourne Masonic Lodge #34 and the Parkersburg Nemesis Shrine Temple. He spent time woodworking and pen making. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding ATV’s with friends and family. He loved to travel with his wife and most of all spending time with his family and grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Wilcox of Paden City, WV; sons, Joseph Pena of Chesapeake, OH and Michael (Faith) Wilcox of New Martinsville, WV; daughter, Stephana (Jonathan) Vance of Ravenswood, WV; sisters, Suzan (Doug) Thomas of Indian Creek, WV, Kim Wilcox of Scenery Hill, PA and Nancy (Dean) Dotson of Indian Creek, WV; grandchildren, Bradley, Raelynn, Charlie, Weston, Jasmine, Xavier, Sebastian and Victor; several nieces and nephews and other extended family.
There will be a memorial visitation on Monday August 11, 2025 at Myers Funeral Home from 2-6 pm with a service at 6:00 pm with Reverend Bobby Thomas officiating. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at 11:00 am at Walnut Fork Cemetery with Reverend Bobby Thomas officiating the service as well.
Walnut Fork Cemetery From State Route 18 at Blue turn onto Indian Creek Road (County Route 13). Go 6.2 miles and turn left onto the Walnut Fork Road, Go 2.5 miles. Turn right on a gravel road and through a creek crossing. The cemetery is visible from this intersection.
