Craig Wood Brown, 76, of Sistersville, WV, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
He was born, July 2, 1949, in New Martinsville, WV, a son of the late Jesse Miller and Gertrude Emily Wood Brown. A proud veteran, he served his county honorably in the US aIR fORCE and faithfully wore his USAF hat. He worked for Corning Glass and was a repairman for PPG Industries.
Surviving is one brother, Don (Pam) Brown of Winston-Salem, NC; his son, Jeffery W. Brown; sister and brother – in - law, Ray (Stephanie) Straight; niece, Dr. Heather (Sean) Straight; nephew, Craig (Keri) Straight; several great nieces and nephews; special friends, Steve and Linda Leasure; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his loving wife of 33 years, Vicky L. Straight Brown and their beloved dog, Toby Lee.
Family will receive friends on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Darrell Mayfield officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Sistersville, WV.
