Darrell Dwayne Bennett

Darrell D. Bennett, 81, of Middlebourne, WV passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026 at home. He was born in Middlebourne, August 19, 1944, a son of the late Wilford A. and Neva R. McGeorge Bennett.

Darrell was always working on something, whether it was indoors or outdoors and enjoyed painting. He was formerly employed at Weirton Steele and Marble King.

Left to cherish his memory include his brother, Gary Bennett (Anita).

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Wanda Sobieraj, Larry Gene, Donna Kay Thomas, and Terry Lynn.

Funeral Services will be held at Myers Funeral Home, Friday, May 8, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Jemison Cemetery, Middlebourne. Visitation will be Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
