Debra Glendenning

Debra Glendenning, 67, of Paden City, WV, passed away on August 27, 2025 at Sistersville General Hospital, surrounded by her family.

She was born December 9, 1957, in Painsville, OH, to the late Donald Morgan and Carol Mickovsky Morgan.

Debra was a 1977 graduate of Sistersville High School and a graduate of Wheeling Barber College. She was a published author, enjoyed arts and crafts and loved her dog, Skye. She enjoyed watching her hero, Judge Judy and listening to Willie Nelson.

She survived by her husband, Ronald Glendenning of Paden City, WV; daughters, Becky (Butch Pyles) Morgan of Paden City, WV and Amanda Glendenning of Paden City, WV; son, Charles (Holly) Poole of Ohio; sisters, Cheryl Cumberledge, Donna (David) Ramage, Wanda Morgan and Laura (Danny Thompson) Morgan; brothers, Kevin (Lori) Morgan, Brian (Darla Steele) Morgan and Alan Morgan; grandchildren, Kristofer (Renee) Beaver, Samantha (Carter Knight) Eckel, Gavin Poole, Lanah Poole, Carson Baker and Amari Glendenning and great-grandchildren, Abigail and Aubrie Beaver and Alaina and Eliza Knight.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Darrell Morgan and father-in-law, Clarence Glendenning.

There will be a memorial service on Monday, September 8, 2025 from 11-1 with a 1:00 funeral service at Myers Funeral Home.
