Donald "Joe" Stewart

Donald “Joe” Stewart, 82, of Sistersville, passed away December 23, 2011 at Sistersville Center. He was born April 27, 1929, a son of the late R.L. “Short” Stewart and Grace Thorne Stewart. Joe was a brick mason at PPG, an Army veteran and a member of the Sistersville United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Sue Stewart of Sistersville; sons, Thomas E. Stewart of Bruceton Mills and James L. (Jill Summers) Stewart of Ona; daughter, Jennifer (Jerry) Lantz of Philippi and grandchildren, Dustin G. Stewart and Alissa Stewart of Ona. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a twin sister and one brother. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00–3:00 with the funeral at 3:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Dawson officiating. Interment will be at Friendly Cemetery.
