Doris Cokeley

Doris Cokeley, 90, of Sistersville, WV, passed away on October 1, 2022 at The Heritage.

She was born of September 10, 1932, in New Martinsville, WV,  a daughter of the late Earle Wable and Ada Koontz Wable.

Doris was a member of the Oxford Street Church of Christ and was a Sunday School Teacher.  She was a volunteer at Sistersville General Hospital and a volunteer with the EMS.  She enjoyed golfing, bowling, water skiing, roller skating, four-wheeling and camping.

She is survived by her daughters, Sheri (Paul) Miller of Sistersville, WV and Kim (Ed) Miller of Fish Creek, WV; grandchildren, Heather Cumblidge, Adam Penfold, Tim (May) Miller, Paula (Jason) Sams and Shawn (Rick) Sperling; several great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist Jerry Toothman officiating. Burial will follow in Paden Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
