Freda Kathern Erwin Roach

Freda Kathern Erwin Roach, 80, of Sistersville, WV, passed away July 20, 2010 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born December 15, 1929, a daughter of the late Byron Andrew Erwin and Retha Jane Hodges Erwin. She was retired from Weirton Steel from the Lab Department, she attended the Sistersville Church of the Nazarene and she was a member of the YAH Sunday School Class. She is survived by son, Fred Roach of Vandergrift, PA; daughter, Kathy Roach of Sistersville; sister, Maxine Leary of Point Pleasant; granddaughters, Lori Knowlton of Sistersville, Amy Halter of Vandergrift, PA, Kim Baratta of Moyock, NC, Julie Dickens of Dallas, TX and Erin Roach of Vandergrift, PA and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ralph Roach, four brothers and two sisters. Services will be Friday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Reverend Scott Knowlton officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the funeral home.
