Greg "Wildman" Pierce

Stephen “Greg” “Wildman” Pierce, 72, of Friendly, WV passed away Monday, October 27, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born September 11, 1953 in Gauley Bridge, WV to the late Olin L. and Phyllis O. Milhoan Pierce.

Greg worked for PPG and was always known to be outside working either mowing grass, riding his tractor “Monica”, fishing, hunting, splitting firewood, or tending to his garden. He enjoyed going to Harman to the camper.

Left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 52 years, Linda Pierce; his son, Gabe Pierce (Regina); his daughter, Angie Goodfellow (Matt); brothers, Jim Pierce (Bobbie) and Terry Pierce; sisters, Shelia Boston (Danny), Linda Tuttle (Richard), and Melissa Robinson (Dave); grandchildren, Paxton Pierce (Kelsey Litman), Sylvia Pierce, and Jonathan Goodfellow; sisters-in-law, Betty Pierce and Donna Pierce; brother-in-law, Steve Hicks; and special friends, Rick Berger and Carla Northcraft; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Gary and Leo Pierce; and his sister, Marsha Hicks.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, October 31, 2025 at Myers Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
