Irene Stewart, of Sistersville, WV, passed away April 19, 2011 at home. She was born September 5, 1945 in Columbus, GA, a daughter of the late Joe Alvizo and Maria Garcia Alvizo. She was a homemaker and a Catholic by faith. Irene is survived by her husband, Calvin Stewart of Sistersville; son, Charles Stewart of Charleston, WV and daughter, Beth (Rob) Doty of Martins Ferry, WV; sisters, Yolanda “Taide” Kelese of San Antonio, TX, Rebecca Alvizo of Pecos, TX, Mary Reed of Charlotte, TX and Joan Cranshaw of Austin, TX; and five grandchildren. At Irene’s request there will be no services. Online condolences may be offered at myersfuneralhomewv.com.
