Katherine Springer

Katherine Springer, 75, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away on May 3, 2023 at home, surrounded by her family.

She was born March 1, 1948, in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Robert Hayes and Virginia Hays Hayes.

Katherine worked at Teletech and she was a 1966 graduate of Sistersville High School. She enjoyed her flowers, gardening and crafting.

She is survived by her son, Mark (Amanda Ball) Smith of Moundsville, WV; daughter, Jennifer Smith of Thief River Falls, MN; sisters, Sally Davis and her twin, Kathleen Bettem; brothers, Jerry Hayes and Jack Hayes; grandchildren, Maranda Lasure, Haden Smith, Carson Smith, Grace Smith and Haylee McNally and great-grandson, Grayson McNally.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Johnny Kool; brother, Ted Hayes and sisters, Grace McGee, Alice Williams, Mary Jo Zipf and Ada Hayes.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Jon Fox officiating. Interment will be in Friendly Cemetery.
