Lenore G. Pancake, 94, of Sistersville, WV, passed away February 14, 2015 at home. She was born April 8, 1920, in Ritchie County, a daughter of the late Ophie Richard and Olive Barker Richard. Lenore retired from Locke's Shoe Store. She was a member of the Sistersville First United Methodist Church, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #6327 and she served as the First Lady of West Virginia Elks in 1988. She is survived by her sons, Jack Pancake, Harold "Happy" Pancake, Danny (Becky) Pancake and David (Audist) Pancake, all of Sistersville; daughter, Chris (Jim) Post of Munford, TN; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and two great great-granchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Pancake in 1998; son, Robert Pancake; daughter, Janice Raper; two brothers and two sisters and daughter-in-law, Sue Pancake. Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am at Myers Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Dawson officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the funeral home.
