Lewis DeWayne Fisher, 88, of Folsom, WV, formerly of Sistersville, WV, passed away, February 14, 2017 at United Hospital Center. He was born April 20, 1928 in Fallen Timber, WV, a son of the late Ted Fisher and Lucy Mae Shuman Fisher. DeWayne was a retired lineman with Mon Power. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He was a member of the Mannington Church of Christ. He loved riding 4-wheelers and he loved to fish, hunt and garden. He is survived by his wife, Beulah Hayhurst Fisher; son, Mark (Kathy) Fisher of Newport, OH; daughter, Jane Ann McKay of Parkersburg, WV and son-in-law, Phillip McKay of Sistersville, WV; step-children, Brian (Cindi) Malson of Travelers Rest, SC, Jeanne (Mike) Harris of Clarksburg, WV and Tim (Kim) Malson of Jane Lew, WV; sisters, Cecelia (Junior) Wilson of Logansport, WV, Beth (Alan) Wells of Sistersville, WV and Debbie (Bob Petron) Oyler of Zephyrhills, FL; brothers, Elwood (Madge) Fisher of Harrisonburg, VA, Troy Fisher of Sistersville and Ned (Annie) Fisher of Alberta, Canada; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Susan Tucker Fisher; sister, Ruth Fordyce and infant brother, Ross Fisher. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Mannington Church of Christ for missionary work, 706 E. Main Street, Mannington, WV 26582. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and Saturday from 12:00 pm until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist Jerry Toothman officiating.
