Marilyn Lucas

Marilyn Lucas, 76, of Sistersville, WV, passed away on April 15, 2023 at Sistersville General Hospital.

She was born December 2, 1946, in Waynesburg, PA, a daughter of the late Charles Whipkey and Marion Conely Whipkey.

Marilyn worked for the Mini-Market and BP gas station.  When Marilyn didn't work, she enjoyed being a homemaker and crocheting.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was a hard worker who took great care of her family, always putting them first.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelley (Randall) Dennis of Clarington, OH; son, James (Nancy Jones) Lucas of Paden City, WV; grandchildren, Ashley Winston and Lucas Dennis; great-grandchildren, Mason Burns, Lilly Anne Winston and Pyper Winston; sister, Teresa Whipkey and brother, Roger Whipkey.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Lucas.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 11:00 am until time of service at 2:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in Middlebourne Cemetery at a later date.
