Martha Louise Yoho (Wells) of Paden City, WV passed away at home on October 1, 2026. She was born September 27, 1937in Sistersville, WV to the late Brady and Merle Michael.
Martha was a retired cook with Tyler County Schools. She was well known for her delicious pepperoni rolls and homemade pizza. She worked as Custodian for the First Baptist Church, where she was a member, for many years. She worked at Open Door Ministries on Monday and Tuesday feeding the community. She bowled every Thursday on a league. Her legacy was her quilts. You would always find Martha putting a quilt together or quilting one for someone else. She was known as a beautiful seamstress as well. Martha always had a bright smile and a word of encouragement for everyone that crossed her path. She was always willing to put others before herself and she loved to serve the Lord.
She is survived by a son, Tom Wells (Lois) of Sistersville, WV and a daughter, Patricia Hylton (Scotty) of Sardis, OH, her grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, October 5, 2026 from 11:00AM until time of service at 1:00PM at Myers Funeral home in Sistersville. Burial will follow at Archers Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Open Door Ministries, P.O. Box 125, New Martinsville, WV 26155.
