Mary Madyline Maxwell

Mary Madyline Maxwell, 95, of Sistersville, WV passed away July 21, 2025 at her residence.

Daughter of the late Catherine and Lando Williamson, Mary was born January 10, 1930 in Sistersville, WV. She worked at Locke's Shoe Store as a sales associate for many years. Mary was a devoted Christian and was of the Nazarene faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Shreves; second husband, Ray Maxwell; daughter, Shirley Roberts; sister, Dorothy Allen; and brothers, Melvin and Bill Williamson.

Mary is survived by her son, Bill Shreves (Ruth); daughters, Patsy Shortridge (Allen), Sharon Phillips (Tom), and Karen Floyd (Charles); special daughter, Sandi Folger-Slie; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other friends and family who will miss her dearly.

A funeral service will take place Friday, July 25, 2025 beginning at 1:00 PM at Myers Funeral Home in Sistersville with Reverend Allen Shortridge, Reverend Charles Floyd, and Danny Anderson officiating. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery will follow. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until time of service on Friday.
