Perie I. Haught, 87, of Friendly, WV, passed away, March 15, 2016 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born June 17, 1928, in Paden City, WV, a daughter of the late George Henry and Elva Billiter Henry. Perie was a homemaker and she was a member of the Oxford Street Church of Christ. She was also a member of the Ladies Group at church, she loved to crochet, work crossword puzzles, yodel, playing the guitar and singing with her sisters at Paden Fork Chapel. She was very close to her sisters and she dearly loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Ted) Kemp of Murrells Inlet, SC and Linda (Larry) Hayes of Friendly, WV; sisters, Pearl Probst, Pansy Raper and Joyce Long; grandchildren, Chris Kemp of Friendly, WV, Matt (Brandy) Hayes of Friendly, WV, Heather (Vitaly) Daminov of Murrells Inlet, SC, Stephanie (Craig) Landis of Friendly, WV, Megan Kemp of Murrells Inlet, SC, Mike (Jane) Nichols of Philadelphia, TN and Jeffrey Nichols of Atoka, TN and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Haught in 2003 and sisters, Wanda Owens, Nancy Leasure, Rose Wells, Violet Knowlton and Maggie May.
