Sandra Shreves

Sandra Shreves, 75, of Friendly, WV, passed away on March 4, 2023 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born November 25, 1947, in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of the late Jacob Markley and Carrie Monroe Markley.

Sandra was retired from the United States Postal Service as a City Mail Carrier.  She enjoyed hummingbirds and crafting with her sisters.

She is survived by her sons, Robert (Shelly) Shreves of New Martinsville, WV and Darrin Shreves of Friendly, WV; daughter, Sherry (Jeff) Dawson of Friendly, WV; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and sisters, Ione Clark, Barb Shreves and Sharon LeMasters.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Marion Fluharty; second husband, Robert Shreves; brother, George; sisters, Dolores, Ruby, Edith, Cleone and Yvonne; son, Marvin Shreves and granddaughter, Samantha Shreves.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Bishop Adrian Cowgill and Pastor Joyce Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Friendly Cemetery.
