Stephen James Oyler

Stephen James Oyler, 63, of Friendly, WV, passed away September 24, 2010, at Sistersville General Hospital. He was born April 4, 1947, a son of the late James B. Oyler and Eva Nellie Richardson Oyler. He was retired from Bayer, a member of the Mason Lodge of New Martinsville, a member of Elks Lodge #333 of Sistersville and a social member of the VFW Post #6327 of Sistersville. He is survived by his wife Debbie Fisher Oyler of Friendly, WV; sons, Robert Stephen Oyler of Scottsville, VA and Brain Barth of Palmyra, VA; brother, Richard Oyler of West Union, WV; sister, Debra Jean Eddy of Apex, NC; grandson, Cole Barth of Palmyra, VA; granddaughters, Briane Barth of Palmyra, VA, Houston and Faith Oyler of Scottsville, VA; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Williamson officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
